Getting Involved in Research

CAMHR scientists collaborate with both Kaiser Permanente Northern California clinicians and researchers from many health systems and universities. If you’re interested in working with us, please read the following.

Internal Collaborations. CAMHR scientists welcome collaboration with clinical colleagues. If you are a KPNC clinician and interested in participating in addictions and/or mental health research, please contact us. KPNC clinicians interested in leading research projects typically need to obtain funding. To get acquainted with various KPNC mechanisms to support clinician-initiated research, visit the DARE website. Community Benefit Grants are another possible funding source. More information can be found here.

External Collaborations. CAMHR scientists collaborate with researchers throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and across the country on a variety of studies. If you are an external researcher interested in working on addiction and/or mental health research within KPNC, you will need to partner with a CAMHR scientist. Please contact us for more information or to discuss your ideas for collaboration.
